About — Architect George

Architect George* is an award-winning, emerging architecture and interiors studio based in Sydney, Australia. We are passionate about collaboration, people and the environment in which we live and work.

*Nobody named George works here...

Architecture is a team effort. The studio is run by Dean Williams, an architect with experience in residential, public and commercial architecture. 'George' is a hypothetical nobody that represents all people involved in creating our projects. The name loosely inspired by George Costanza's declaration that this is the “summer of George”.

We strive to create meaningful and responsive buildings for people and places.

We believe the architectural process should be joyful. Working with Architect George is a collaborative and conversational experience. We work closely with you to ensure your project is perfectly suited to your way of living, your site and your budget.

Sustainable design is a core focus of our process. We believe it’s our responsibility to advocate loudly for sustainable design. We focus on well designed spaces rather than larger ones, buildings that capture light and ventilation and are conscious of using sustainably sourced and long-lasting materials.

We design new houses, alterations and additions to existing residences, multi-residential developments, public projects and mixed-use commercial developments.

We offer full architectural services which means we’re here to guide you from start to finish.
